Opposing natures

The landscape scenes by Robert Geißler and the city photographs by Kai Uwe Rotter show two artistic perspectives on very contrasting environments. Their comparison reveals differences that could not be greater.
While the colorful, expressive acrylic and paper landscapes tell of the conscious search for peace and retreat from the turbulent world, the urban everyday scenes in black and white and colorkey technique reveal an overloaded living space that harbors loneliness through targeted accents.

In this way, the works strike a balance between abundance and emptiness.
